Welcome to our blog dedicated to the Georgia College Marine Biology of the Bahamas study abroad course to San Salvador. As a group of students who are passionate about the ocean and its ecosystems, we have come to this beautiful island to deepen our knowledge and understanding of  the marine life. Join us on this exciting journey as we delve into the fascinating world of marine biology against the backdrop of San Salvador's rich history, culture, and environment.

Come along with us on this thrilling expedition as we explore the captivating world of marine biology amidst the backdrop of San Salvador's diverse history, culture, and environment.

The goal of our blog is to document our trip as we explore the diverse and stunning marine habitats of the Bahamas and share our experiences with others.  During our trip we'll have the opportunity to experience the diversity of coral reefs, marine fish, and invertebrates firsthand as we explore the coastal marine habitats of San Salvador Island. Through this program, we hope to gain a greater appreciation for the importance of marine conservation and the ways in which our actions can impact the health of our oceans. We'll also have the chance to interact with local the community and learn about their efforts to protect and preserve their marine resources.
